So with all this running, it does mean I am looking at Lycra in a whole new light. When I first had the notion to put a foot in front of the other faster than normal I dusted off my trusty old running trainer I had bought years ago and purchased some running capris. Oh and 2 tops that wicked, not that I knew what wick meant. Now my trusty tops and capris are just fine when I remember to put them on the right way round. The tops are getting baggier too which is a boost to the old self-confidence thing.
But now I am at the dizzy heights of 8 minutes ( yes 8 minutes !!) I think it’s about time I reward myself with some new sporting attire. Especially as the danger of being seen in public is getting close to reality.
First up I have been searching on Lyst.co.uk for running leggings :
I am loving these by Avant which can be found here. I like the height of the waistband as that is a more comfortable place for the waistband instead of it fighting to go up or under the belly bulge.
And these too are on my list – so if I ever forget what I was doing ( not that I ever do that lol) I know what I am supposed to be doing – you can find these here
I am not a fan of patterned leggings hence I have chosen black for the leggings, but tops, well that’s a whole different thing.
I like this one mainly for its colour, though my boobs don’t work well with round necks as they make me look bigger than I am and I don’t need help there. But you can find this little number here
But this top I would definitely wear especially as the weather has turned and long sleeves will be needed. This top also has though niffty thumb holes too. You can find this one here . This one is going on my Christmas list.
Laslty I am going to sound very mumsy but a jacket is needed too. The thumb hole thing is the top underneath but is really light so the info says here
